We currently collect and process the following information:
- Name, address, contact numbers, email addresses, information on your animal/s
- CCTV images (people and vehicles)
- Any other personal information provided (emergency contacts, veterinary information)
How we get the personal information and why we have it
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:
- Hydrotherapy / Physiotherapy
- Dog home boarding
- Small animal boarding
- In person workshops
We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following:
- Veterinary practices
- MDT (Multi-disciplinary Team – i.e. other therapists/behaviourists etc)
- Insurance companies
- Colleges/Universities, educational establishments
- Work experience providers
We use the information that you have given us to be able to provide you with services requested (i.e. hydrotherapy/physiotherapy, animal boarding, work experience)
We may share this information with veterinary practices, MDT’s and insurance companies.
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:
(a) Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting us directly via email (info@soozoo.co.uk )

How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored.
We keep all data on web-based software. The software is hosted by SHARC, Pet sitter Plus and Pet Admin. Details of how they host the data, and their cyber security can be found on each website.
Data is stored indefinitely or until no longer required.
Data is only accessed internally by staff members who individually have access rights, and this is monitored by management closely. Should a staff member leave their access is revoked immediately.

Under data protection law, you have rights including:
Your right of access – You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
